About Me

I'm a musician and teacher, turned software developer. I've always loved conceiving, designing, and developing something until I can eventually view the finished product with immense pride. My interest in software development started a few years ago when I decided to build a jukebox, powered by a Raspberry Pi microcomputer, which I gave to my dad for Father's Day. That experience gave me my first taste of the joy that comes from creating something with software.

Since then, I've been busy pursuing a new career! I went back to school and completed a rigorous full-stack software development boot camp. I had the privilege of working for a software consulting company on two separate projects. In addition, I got promoted to do software development work at the school where I've worked full time for nearly a decade. I'm happy with the progress I've made so far, but still excited at the prospect of landing that first full-time job as a junior developer.

When I'm not busy with my next coding project, I'm usually spending time with my family, riding my bike, or playing music with friends.
